marine geophysical survey consultant

I am a Marine Geophysicist with 10+ years of experience in near-surface geohazards, specialising in potential fields (magnetics) and unexploded ordnance (UXO) risk management.
I started my professional career in 2006 working as an Offshore Marine Geophysicist, responsible for offshore data quality control and near-surface geohazard interpretation.
In 2015, I joined a risk management consultancy specialising in UXO project risk as the Senior Project Geophysicist. I was involved in the authoring of numerous UXO risk assessments for marine construction projects, UXO risk mitigation strategies, UXO survey specifications, data processing, and the auditing and reprocessing of third party datasets.
I founded PKW Geophysics Ltd. in 2017, and have since worked on numerous projects, representing my end client’s offshore interests, sense checking UXO risk assessments, survey methodologies, risk mitigation strategies, and reprocessing and improving upon 3rd party magnetometer datasets.
In my spare time I enjoy forest walks in Thetford Forest with my dog Basil, listening to Smooth Chill, photography, and pc gaming.
